Kull – The Legacy of the Raisingghs OTT Release Date: Ektaa Kapoor is back with another heavy-duty family drama, but this time it’s not your usual kitchen politics. Kull – The Legacy of the Raisingghs dives into the dark and twisted world of a royal family, where every heir has a secret and everyone’s after the throne. The show drops on May 2, 2025, and will stream exclusively on JioHotstar.

With a solid cast that includes Nimrat Kaur, Ridhi Dogra, Amol Parashar, Gaurav Arora, Rohit Tiwari, and Rahul Vohra, this one’s shaping up to be an intense watch.

What’s the story all about?

The series is set inside a grand old palace, but this isn’t some fairy tale. It all starts after the death of the family patriarch, a powerful man who ruled with fear. Now that he’s gone, the remaining members of the Raisinggh family are ready to do whatever it takes to take his place. It’s about long-held grudges, ugly secrets, broken relationships, and a past that refuses to stay buried.

At the centre of the storm is Rani Indirani Raisinggh, played by Nimrat Kaur. She’s a strong, sharp, no-nonsense woman who carries the weight of her family’s history on her shoulders. Along with her, there’s Ridhi Dogra, who’s calling herself the rightful heir, and Amol Parashar, who’s out to claim what he believes is his by blood. The show pits these three characters against each other.

Director Sahir Raza said in a media statement, “Kull isn’t just about royal glam; it’s about the silence, guilt, and hidden truths that shape an entire lineage. Every frame carries emotion, and I hope audiences feel every ounce of it.” The teaser ends with a killer line: “Paise aur power ki iss ladai mein kaunse Raisinggh vaaris ki hogi jeet?” That’s the big question, and knowing Ektaa Kapoor’s knack for drama, don’t expect any easy answers.
