The captain of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Rajat Patidar, has shown no change in his aggressive batting style despite taking on the skipper's role. He continued his destructive form against Chennai Super Kings (CSK), smashing a half-century in just 30 balls.

Interestingly, he was dropped twice—both times in Noor Ahmad's 12th over—when he was on 17 runs. However, the No. 4 batter remained unfazed and went on to complete his 50 with ease.

Rajat Patidar scores 50

In the high-intensity clash between CSK and RCB, Patidar played a crucial knock, scoring 51 off 32 balls before being dismissed in the 18th over by Matheesha Pathirana, thanks to a well-timed catch by Sam Curran. During his stay at the crease, he struck four fours and three sixes. RCB fans were thrilled by their captain’s valuable contribution, trending his name on X (formerly Twitter).

One fan wrote, "Rajat Patidar… RCB is blessed to have a player like you."

Another said, "51(32) by Captain Rajat Patidar—led from the front! Well played, starboy!"

A third commented, "Chepauk crowd appreciating Captain Rajat Patidar's innings!"

Another praised, "Well played, Captain Rajat Patidar... Brilliant fifty!"

One fan added, "Rajat Patidar's wicket was the difference between RCB scoring 200+ and falling short. Had he stayed, 200 was guaranteed."
