Aamir Khan's Sitaare Zameen Par trailer was released on social media recently, and while it is the official Hindi remake of the Spanish hit Champions (Campeones) fans noticed that it isn’t simply a remake but rather a ‘frame-by-frame’ copy of the movie. While some felt that he should have stayed away from remakes, others felt that it's acceptable to replicate scenes for adaptations.
Champions, for those who don’t know, is about a former minor-league basketball coach who is asked to manage a team of players with intellectual disabilities.
Coming back to the chatter, a Redditor shared a video comparing scenes from the two movies ‘frame by frame,’ and people are now reacting to it.

A Reddit user posted the video stating, “I know it's an official Remake but still...isn't it too much.”
Reacting to this, one wrote, “After the Forest Gump fiasco, he should have stayed away from remakes or adaptations.” Another added, “ Luckily Champions is less popular than Forrest Gump, so fewer people may care. But still not a good look.”
A third went on to add, “Perfectionist in copying the film frame by frame.”
Some also went on to defend Khan and say that since it is the official remake there shouldn’t be a problem replicating it frame by frame.
