Halle Bailey accuses ex-boyfriend DDG of repeated physical abuse, shares photos of bruises and damaged tooth

Halle Bailey, 'The Little Mermaid' actress, secured a restraining order in favour of her after she accused her ex-boyfriend, DDG, the American YouTuber and rapper, of repeated abuse.
According to a Page Six report, Halle was granted a temporary order of protection against ex DDG, the father of her child, after she made claims that he physically abused her multiple times.
The 25-year-old star also claimed that the first incident of abuse took place in January following their breakup in October 2024, reported Page Six.

Halle Bailey made shocking claims about DDG
As per Bailey's claims, DDG, a.k.a. Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr, became annoyed after he arrived at her home to pick up their one-year-old son, Halo.
This is when she tried to discuss a visitation schedule, and when she was securing the infant in his car seat, Bailey alleged that the rapper started yelling at her, saying, “Get out of my car, bitch.”

The moment made Halle worried about leaving her crying baby with DDG in his agitated state. Following this, the incident led the former couple to engage in a fight. As per Halle's claims, during the struggle, DDG allegedly pulled Bailey's hair and pushed her face into the steering wheel, chipping a front tooth.

Following this, the Last Holiday actress stayed in the car for the ride to the YouTuber's house, and she was still concerned about her son's safety before sharing this with her family.
Halle Bailey shared pictures of her bruises
The incident intensified when Halle shared pictures and proof of her bruises with the court, revealing how her 27-year-old ex-DDG physically attacked her on multiple occasions.
She even shared one encounter with the rapper when he left her with bruises and chipped her front tooth, and shared pictures of bruises on her arms. The singer and actress has also asked for protection from the court.

Halle did not stop there; she also cited another incident from March when the rapper allegedly entered her home without permission and texted her a photo of her bed, writing, "Now I know what u been on lol.”

However, Bailey was granted a temporary restraining order on Tuesday in Los Angeles.
